NO KNEAD CRUSTY DUTCH OVEN BREAD
Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour and more for dusting
- 2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 ½ c warm water about 110 degrees
Instructions
DIRECTIONS
- Whisk flour, salt and yeast in a large bowl until combined.
- Add water and stir with a wooden spoon.
- The dough will be very sticky and shaggy.
- Cover with Press n Seal and let sit 8-18 hours.
- When ready to bake, preheat oven to 450.
- Place empty Dutch oven inside to heat through for 30 minutes.
- While oven preheats, uncover and punch down dough.
- Lay out a large sheet of parchment paper sprinkled liberally with flour.
- Turn dough out into parchment and quickly shape into a ball using floured hands.
- Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rest for 30 minutes while your Dutch oven preheats.
- Remove plastic wrap and place parchment sheet with dough on top down into Dutch oven.
- Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
- Uncover and bake another 10 to brown the top.
